my last comment was a reply to someone elses post, however, it didn’t go in the ‘reply’ place… youtube error… Anyways. I have tiger salamanders also(had them since they were cute little waterdogs). They do like to swim even after they are salamanders and no longer waterdogs. I have mine in a tank that is about 1foot deep with water. He goes in all the time to swim. I have the whole top filled with turtle docks which he also sits up on quite often, then dives off to catch fish

No animal “doesn’t require much care”… Please do research and post on some forums. Don’t make an impulse buy of a pet and have them living in unfit conditions.
