    how much did that …
how much did that setup cost(including the frog)(but not including the tank)? and also do those frogs bite?

  2. turdspooning says:

    whoever said you …
whoever said you had to put gravel at the bottom? also Ive owned them before; I need no research. you see 20 gallons are like nothing, especially for such a large frog. that thing could probably jump all the way across that little set up you have only to smash his face on the glass on the other side. do your animal a favor, and get off your and go get it a bigger and better set-up. Your animal will be happier, and maybe you’ll be a bit more experienced after having made a real set-up.

    That is your …
That is your opinion. I personally do not use semi-aquatic tanks for gravel/impaction reasons. It is far better to have a large water dish than a semi-aquatic tank.

Also, 20 gallons is a perfect tank size for an adult giant african bullfrog. Research it.

  4. turdspooning says:

    a huge frog needs a …
a huge frog needs a huge tank. twenty gallons is not huge. get a bigger tank. I believe in excess for my animals. They also like to bring their prey into a completely submerged environment. you need a part aquatic tank.

The people at the reptile store told me that if you live in a city type area where all the houses have the same water supply, then you can’t use that water for your herps. But they said since I have a well that supplies our water, I can use that. Can someone please tell me if that’s true????
