My water is room temp because I use bottled water. I wouldnt use freezing cold water or hot water but if you have water that has been sitting and is room temps, rhats fine..

well females can get 5-7 inches, a 10-15 gallon should be okay for a female. You can use a water dish like mine but of course you will need to by a bigger size water dish when it grows..

They can swim but you dont want the water dish to be to deep. I would not reccomend a semi aquatic set-up for them. Just stick with a decent size water dish.
