In my opinion, one of the most exciting things about owning reptiles is setting up their reptile enclosures (It’s a lot of fun doing it). My favorite reptile enclosures are the ones offered by Cages By Design They have a great selection and I really like the wooden frames. Since my house has a more country look to it, these reptile cages and snake cages blend nicely. I’ve also been able to find a number of accessories for my reptile enclosures from Cages By Design. Their assorted pants and vines are awesome! They actually look real and the leopard geckos love them! They are made from silk or plastic so they last a long time. I prefer my lizard cages and large reptile cages to look natural and “outdoorsy,” so I was excited to discover that Cages by Design offers custom backgrounds for your reptile enclosures. You can choose a background that looks like a desert (for desert reptiles) or one that looks like a great rainforest for your more tropical pets. I couldn’t be more pleased with the way these reptile cages look in the house!!

My mom never allowed me to have a turtle, but my close cousin has. It is really amusing to watch it and the sound that it makes is really entertaining. What I usually do when I'm at their house I play with the turtle and wait for it to make that cute sound.

I used to have a pet green turtle. Its size was a bout 4 inches in length. I placed it in a 3x3 ft. terrarium. I focused more on the area where it can walked and I provide a space for the water. I usually feed it with food worms and occasionally dried small shrimp and insects.

NO problem with turtles, but geckos and frogs can give me paralyze me with fear. It may sound funny but my fear of these animals is really in an extreme level. Although setting up a habitat for this animals is pretty interesting.

I do have respect for all living things in this world and I'm so inlove with nature but I'm really scared of slimy creatures. I don't even know why!? its just that my instant reaction to it is to stay away. But I do have respect for them though and I used to treat our house lizard as a pet. But then I grew up and I'm just terrified to hold it. So hats of to you, because it shows that you really care for the amphibians. Keep it up!

I would have to say the simpler the pet the better. I think fish are great, easy to maintain and great to watch!

You would think that there is not much to do regarding caring for a turtle but you'd be surprised. I mean, how much care is there for a slow moving creature? My friend spends a lot of time and money on his turtle. Somehow, it is fun and rewarding for him.

I wouldn't want one in my house, though growing up my older brother always had slimy things in containers. They often got out, or maybe he lifted the lid too many times and they got out. lol They always ended up in my room, which is probably why I dislike snakes, turtles, frogs, salamanders etc. Hum....big brothers can be a pain.

I do love the colorful frog in your upper right corner, he's very pretty and bright.

Rated you 5 by the way on your blog catalog thingy.

Snakes give me the willies. Can't even go through the repile house at the zoo where they're under glass. Cold chills, such creepy slimy looking things.

Not for me thanks,
